Damascus / Across Syria

>July 12, 2018, The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) officially declared full control of Daraa City. The terrorists strongholds left in Daraa province are expected to accept reconciliation with the government very soon. The next phase of operation Basalt will focus on securing the border with the occupied Syrian Golan.

>July 6, 2018, The Fact-Finding Mission (FFM) of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), issued an interim report on the FFM's investigation regarding the allegations of chemical weapons use in Douma, Syria on 7 April 2018. "OPCW designated labs conducted analysis of prioritised samples. The results show that no organophosphorous nerve agents or their degradation products were detected in the environmental samples or in the plasma samples taken from alleged casualties."

>June 24, 2018, After weeks of preparation, the SAA has officially started a major operation in southern Syria. The latest ground reports indicate the Tiger Forces will once again have a key role to play. Video footage confirms the amount of troops and equipment deployed is unlike anything seen in recent years.

>June 2, 2018, A large number of Iranian-backed forces and SAA personnel have arrived in the western countryside of the Deir ez-Zor for a major operation to clear the Badiya Al-Sham region in the vast Syrian Desert. The Iranian-backed forces and SAA troops were deployed from all over Syria to help with the upcoming operation to clear the desert area. Due to repeated attacks by ISIS in the region recently, the Syrian military has made the decision to tackle this issue before the terrorist group breaks out of this large pocket.

>May 21, 2018, The SAA officially declared full control of South Damascus. For the first time since 2011, the capital city and and its entire countryside is now considered safe.

>May 16, 2018, The SAA announced the liberation of 1200 square kilometers and 65 villages in southern Hama and northern Homs (full control).

>May 10, 2018, 28 Israeli Air Force (IAF) F-16 aircraft fired 60+ air-to-surface missiles at SAA/SyAADF positions in southern Syria and Damascus. Syrian air-defense systems were hit. The Syrian military responded with their own salvos of rockets, and intercepted many missiles. According to the Russian MoD, Israel also launched roughly 10 surface-to-surface missiles. >>1555

>April 29, 2018, The IDF attacked military positions in the provinces of Hama & Aleppo. One of the sites was a munition depot belonging to the SAA 47th Brigade. According to reports, local hospitals received multiples victims. There has been no confirmation on the number of injuries/fatalities.

>April 25, 2018, The SAA officially declared full control of Eastern Qalamoun.

>April 15, 2018, The SAA officially declared full control of Eastern Ghouta.

>May 4, 2018, The OPCW fact-finding mission completed its work and returned to The Hague. The analysis of the samples may take at least three to four weeks. During their mission, the inspection team visited two different sites in Douma.

>April 26, 2018, Russia and Syria held a news briefing at the OPCW where they had brought seventeen eyewitnesses from Douma who confirmed there was no attack there and the White Helmets had actually forged the video footage.

>April 14, 2018, The OPCW fact-finding mission invited by Syria and Russia arrived in Damascus.

>April 14, 2018, The USA, Britain and France attacked Syria with 105 cruise missiles (hours before the arrival of the OPCW).

>March 13, 2018, SAA units found an underground chemical facility in al-Shifonyah, Eastern Ghouta. Terrorists used it to develop chemical weapons. They found manuals, documentation from a Saudi chemical industrial company and various other items.

Deir ez-Zor

>The US military has established at least 3 new bases in the oil-rich region of Eastern Deir ez-Zor (al-Tabiya, al-Amr/al-Omar, & al-Tanak oilfields).

>March 28, 2018, SAA units found three depots containing chemicals and equipment for the manufacture of ammunition.

Homs

>July 8, 2018, The IAF targeted Syria’s Tiyas (T-4) airbase. In coordination with the US military, multiple IAF aircraft entered Syrian airspace via US-held Al-Tanf. Syrian military sources claim the SyAADF shot down or jammed away 7 out of 12 missiles and managed to damage one IAF aircraft. Syrian media reported that 4-6 missiles landed outside the perimeter of the airbase, resulting in material damage only. No casualties has been reported.

>April 9, 2018, The IAF targeted Syria’s Tiyas (T-4) airbase. The Syrian military stated the attack was carried out in coordination with the US military. The aircraft fired eight guided missiles, but five of them were shot down by the SyAADF. Three of the missiles reached the western part of the airfield. The IAF aircraft did not enter Syrian airspace and launched the strikes while flying over Lebanon. Syrian media confirmed several casualties among Syrian soldiers, without specifying any number. Iran has confirmed 7 Iranians were killed (IRGC/militias).

Aleppo

>The US military has established 2 new bases in the region of Manbij.

>March 24, 2018, The Turkish Army (TSK) & allied moderate beheaders (TFSA) declared full control of the district of Afrin. More than 170,000 civilians left the district of Afrin for government-controlled Syria.
